What are your health and safety precautions?

A germ guardian air purifier with UV light is turned on 20 minutes before the first session of the day and remains on for the duration of the day.

Singeli will be wearing an N95 mask for every session. Client masking is highly encouraged.

The facility has recently updated their HVAC system

Hygienic/ sanitary precautions remain in place throughout our facility

All high touch surfaces are sanitized with a CDC recommended sanitizer frequently throughout the day

Payments are collected though electronic payment (cash is not accepted)

In the event that I test positive for COVID-19, I will inform all clients who may have been potentially exposed and self-isolate until I can be cleared of infection.

In the event that you suspect you have been exposed to COVID-19, you will call Elevate Healing Arts Studio at (224) 572-9704 to let Singeli know you have been exposed to COVID-19. There will be no penalties and the sessions can be rescheduled anytime after 14 days of the exposure.

PLEASE NOTE IN ORDER TO RECEIVE SERVICES YOU MUST BE FULLY VACCINATED (INCLUDING AT LEAST ONE BOOSTER)

What is your cancellation policy?

I understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In my desire to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policy will be honored:
Failure to cancel at least 36 hours before the start of the appointment time will result in a charge for 100% of the scheduled appointment price.

How do I schedule an appointment?

All appointments must be made online. Do this easily and securely: book online. A valid credit or debit card is required to reserve your appointment.

What types of massage do you offer?

I use a trauma-informed approach through a shared decision making model. This means that I focus more on providing clients appropriate care rather than using one particular modality. I am trained in relaxation, pre-natal/postpartum, and deep tissue massage, Craniosacral therapy, myofascial release therapy, and cupping. You can learn more about what trauma informed care means here and you can learn more about shared decision making model here.

How long are your massage sessions?

I offer 50-minute and 80-minute sessions. Note each session is scheduled for either 60 minutes or 90 minutes. This allows us to have transition time and allows me to have a few minutes to sanitize and prep the room for the next client.

What should I wear to my massage?

That’s entirely up to you. Most people usually wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing that can be easily removed or adjusted to allow for access to the targeted areas. Draping is used to ensure privacy and comfort during your session.

Do you offer gift certificates?

Yes! I offer gift certificates for both 60-minute and 90-minute massage and Reiki sessions.

What type of coaching do you offer and do you incorporate Compassionate Inquiry?

I offer Somatic Coaching, a type of coaching that focuses on the body-mind connection. This approach helps people become more connected to their emotions, thoughts, and inner landscape (interoception). Anyone who has trouble connecting to their emotions or experiences physical manifestations of mental/emtional pain can benefit.

Compassionate Inquiry may be incorporated into a session as needed.

How does somatic coaching work?

Every session looks different but it always starts with an intention. Based on your intention, we explore what’s going on in your life that’s causing discomfort, pain, disconnection to your body (and Self), etc… We may incorporate some bodywork on the massage table, Mindfulness activities, Somatic Experiencing and Polyvagal techniques, embodiment exercises, stretching, yoga, deep breathing, or anything that can help you feel at ease. We work to expand your window of tolerance, emotion regulation, sense of self, integrating trauma or past experiences/emotions that are no longer serving you, and how to live a fulfilling life.
